One of my favorite places in town to eat. I have been quite a few times now and have never been disappointed. Wonderfully prepared dishes that are both tasty and unique. I had no problems with the serving sizes - the food was so rich it had to be less than a jumbo platter size more often found at lower class restaurants. They have live music every week too, and lovely servers. Both breakfast and dinner menus are excellent (a little small probably because the dishes are original) and not at all too pricey for their quality.

Food was extremely expensive for what we were served. We had a hamburger, veggie pot pie, and a lettuce wedge salad which we shared and the most inexpensive bottle of Chardonnay. Our bill came to $87.00. The pot pie had few veggies and was mostly gravy and crust. Hamburger was served with soggy sweet potatoe fries which were not edible. Worst meal we have had in Santa Barbara in many years. Only one other couple was in the restaurant while we were there.

Nice variety on the menu. Eggs were good, but side potatoes were bad. Stick to hash browns only if you're going to serve cold potatoes for breakfast. Biscuits very good, along with fresh-squeezed juice and homemade rasberry jam/preserve. I would go back; you'll like this place.

Food is good and unique to this area. However, the owner's attitude toward problems is awful! Twice I've had a problem while visiting: the first time was with a party of eight, it took over an hour to receive our food AFTER the order was placed; the second time I went and ate with my husband and two children on Mother's Day, we were told by the waitress that our preschoolers could share a meal, but were charged for two meals. In both instances I brought the matter to the attention of the owner who showed very little concern in either situation. The first time she said bluntly and matter-of-factly "It's a Sunday, and that's just what you can expect when we're busy." No apology, not even a little sympathy. The second instance we were not refunded the money even though she acknowledged that her waitress may have told us our children could share a meal; and again there wasn't even an apology... the owner simply said "It's Mother's Day and we only do this special menu once a year, and it's not our policy to split meals." (She didn't need to remind me it was Mother's Day... I am a mom and she certainly didn't do much to make my day special!) I told her that she may want to just let her waitresses know the policy so the mistake wasn't repeated, and she just looked at her watch and said with sarcasm "Well there's only two more hours left of brunch, but I'll be sure to tell them." Too many great restaurants in Santa Barbara to put up with such dismally poor customer service, particularly when it comes from the owner herself!

Great place to eat. My date and I have eaten there several times and we always have a marvelous time. Food was excellent but menu selection a little small. Specials were very good and dessert also very good.

Service was great and the waiter was on top of things. We had the place to ourselves and the uncrowded, unhurried atmosphere was just what we needed. Usually the place is clean and tidy but a few ants on the window sill were a mild distraction, nothing a little wine couldn’t cure (for me, not the ants).

I highly recommended Tupelo Junction if you can get a table as there’s often a line of people waiting to get in.

They say "$7-10"...they need to specify lunch/breakfast. This is NOT TRUE for dinner, which is about $20+.
